I will say that using transparent overdrive really makes the Wildkat sound fantastic, especially with the neck pickup. My first comment is I really don't see Metal players running out to buy the Wildkat just based on aesthetics alone, but I tend to think generalizations are stupid. You can get a lot of tone out of this guitar, but if your setlist has a fair amount of harder, distortion laden songs, then maybe you would want to swap these out.
